Mercado Local is now a store and art center and community room. Opened November 22, 2023, with an official opening December 6, 2023. This is possible thanks to the sponsors Jennifer Sawyer is putting together to cover the rent of the store for a year. March 16, 2024, it is the official opening of the art space and community room.
